Family Participation in Morning 3s

Morning 3s families also play an active role in the preschool’s operations by serving on a school committee or the Executive Board. Families not on the Executive Board are required to volunteer at one of ECP’s two main fundraising events and participate in one housekeeping session each year per child in the school.

Afternoon 4s
Our Afternoon 4s program offers a more flexible version of the cooperative model: co-op participation is optional, but families help clean up the classroom on a rotating basis as the Clean Up Helper.
Students in the Afternoon 4s are ready for more time in the school setting – four afternoons a week. Families may sign up for our Lunch Bunch option to extend the school day and prepare students for the experience of eating with their peers in Elementary School.

Family Participation in Afternoon 4s
Afternoon 4s offers families a more flexible cooperative preschool experience. Unlike the traditional co-op model, classroom volunteering is optional. Families instead support the school outside the classroom in several ways and help clean up the classroom on a rotating basis (a half-hour commitment after school approximately once a month).
